Some deserve it, and some don't. Well, the NFL is filled with them. And like anything else, there are plenty of players who get them who don't deserve it, and others who do. The NFL is a league of talented football players who have committed crimes, have dealt with over 10 injuries throughout their career, or who have shown poor sportsmanship every week. Do those players really deserve to play in the league even after they make mistakes on the field? And what about those who struggle to perform, do they deserve to be playing every Sunday? The whole point of the NFL is to have the best of the best play. And then there's those players who are forgotten about and unwanted, who don't get the second chance they may deserve. As more younger players come into the NFL, teams begin to forget about the past. It's a sad thing, but that's the way the NFL is. What may be your favorite player in college, could be forgotten about five years later after his NFL career went down the drain. Unfortunately, the NFL is a tough place to have a career, and sometimes, you have to be in the right situation for things to work out.
